GeoVue supports aid organisations in Africa to locate reliable groundwater sources, helping secure clean water for vulnerable communities.

GeoVue has been deployed across Africa in partnership with aid organisations including WhoLives.org and VillageDrill.org to support sustainable water development projects. One of the most impactful outcomes was at an orphanage caring for approximately 40 children, where water shortages during dry seasons regularly put the community at risk. Using GeoVue to identify the most promising well location, the team successfully drilled a new bore that now produces a strong, reliable supply of clean, cold water. Beyond meeting daily drinking needs, the well provides enough output to run a small micro-irrigation system. This ensures that during dry years, crops can still be grown, improving food security and long-term resilience. The project demonstrates how accurate subsurface insight can directly transform lives, turning uncertainty into sustainable access to water.
