How the evaluation works

Your free allocation is flexible

Each token allows a one-metre view. You decide how to distribute the 1,000 included metres across field locations, survey depths and asset types.

1

Receive 1,000 metres of free data-processing tokens with your GeoVue signup.

m

Choose your survey

One token equals one metre of processed view depth. Allocate the tokens in the way that best suits your test.

Review your results

Record your own data, authorise processing, and review the finished interactive HTML report.

Use your own assets

Test the technology in your own time

The evaluation is designed for practical testing on assets and questions that matter to you.

W

Already-drilled wells

Compare GeoVue results with known well information and existing site knowledge.

D

Planned wells

Evaluate locations for wells that have not yet been drilled.

G

Geology boundaries

Test how the processed data represents geological changes and boundaries.

T

Temperature estimation

Review temperature-related interpretations within your chosen survey area and depth.

Record, process and review your own data

The same 1,000-metre allocation can be divided in many different ways. Choose the field-point count and processing depth that provides the most useful evaluation for you.

10 field points

Process each point to 100 metres depth: 10 × 100 = 1,000 tokens.

5 field points

Process each point to 200 metres depth: 5 × 200 = 1,000 tokens.

20 field points

Process each point to 50 metres depth: 20 × 50 = 1,000 tokens.

3 field points

Process each point to 333 metres depth: 3 × 333 = 999 tokens.

You choose the plan. Use any combination of field points and processing depths that works for your evaluation, provided the total remains within your available token balance.

What you need

A simple cable pack is required

You will need to buy and build the electrical cables used to connect your phone or tablet to the field electrodes.

$30

Estimated cable cost

Allow approximately $30.00 for the parts needed to build the electrical cables. The cable page explains both the direct-soldered option and the easier screw-terminal option.

From field recording to your finished report

You control the survey. GeoVue processes the data autonomously after you authorise processing.

1

Record the data

Select your field locations and record the survey data yourself using the GeoVue app and cable pack.

2

Authorise processing

Choose the processing depth and confirm how many tokens you want to use for the survey.

3

GeoVue processes

The GeoVue app processes your authorised data autonomously. You do not need to operate the processing workflow manually.

4

Review your report

A fully interactive HTML report appears in your downloads for you to open, explore and review.
